He appears to be LDS, is that who you are talking about? I have been doing apologetics for quite some time and I have never heard of him. LDS and textual criticism are not typically a good match up.
I agree. It’s the part of Dan McClellan that puzzles. He talks like sceptic with respect to the Bible but for some reason never gets critical of the Book of Mormon.
All the same, his critical approach to the Bible is sometimes hard to argue with.
