Your dating of the NT sources in slightly in error - but not by much. 3 could be, notice "could", be as late as 110 CE: Book of John, Second Peter, Epistles of John. The earliest dated records are from the 2nd Century.

If you’re going to do apologetics you might want to have a look at his Tik Tok videos. He leads the way in Biblical criticism.

He appears to be LDS, is that who you are talking about? I have been doing apologetics for quite some time and I have never heard of him. LDS and textual criticism are not typically a good match up.

I agree. It’s the part of Dan McClellan that puzzles. He talks like sceptic with respect to the Bible but for some reason never gets critical of the Book of Mormon.

All the same, his critical approach to the Bible is sometimes hard to argue with.
