It’ll probably be in the third week of June, but I’m not 100% sure.

Sounds like a great trip! Glad you had safe travels.

I'd appreciate any prayers: I feel God wants me to become a school teacher.

Will do. www.classicalchristian.org has a job board. It’s the association to teach in.

Hello Jacob is there a way to subscribe to your increasing number of printed materials? Would love a copy of your thesis to read. Go to the website and click ‘send all?’

Hi Hal!

You can get a paid subscription here on Substack which would give you access to my dissertation (pdf) and all of the beta curriculum (pdf) up to date. Just go to the top right of the page where you see your user icon and find the subscription settings. If you have trouble figuring out how to upgrade, let me know.

For finalized print materials you can go to our new website www.studythegreatbooks.com. We will be adding more finalized material there on a regular basis. I hope to rework my dissertation soon into a popular level book too. Lord willing over the next year I’ll get it done.

Blessings my friend.

really appreciate your candid, no-nonsense breakdown of the situation. You raise a powerful point: platforms aren’t neutral when they spotlight particular voices, and Substack’s embrace of The Free Press sends a clear signal about the values it’s choosing to prioritize. Your experience migrating to beehiiv and building a sustainable model from the ground up is inspiring—and underscores that writers absolutely can thrive off-Substack if they’re strategic and persistent. Thank you for modeling that path and for reminding us all to align our publishing choices with our deeper principles. Your assessment is sharp, timely, and much-needed—thanks for framing the debate so clearly.
